My resolution is to take this blogging thing seriously. I keep telling myself I don't have time, yet I manage to read other blogs.

2009 started off well, at least for a couple of days. Son1 is going through a difficult time again, and I'm not sure what to do with him this time. It seems as though I get one person doing OK, and then the wheels fall off of someone else. I need a live in therapist.

So I'm enjoying the "new" TV year. Starting off with The Bachelor. I really like Jason from the Bachelorette, and his boy is cute as the dickens. But really, where do they get these fruitcakes for him to choose from?? I went to a forum to read the spoilers, so I think I know who he ends up with. The awards are starting again, I watched the People's Choice, which was crap, except for Carrie Underwood. The girl does have some pipes. I saw her in person 2 (3?) times last year with my daughter, and she has come a long way from the first time we saw her. Speaking of who(m?),(my daughter, not Carrie,) I am really missing her. When she's here, I get annoyed with the bickering between her and Son2, but I really do enjoy her company. She's got a great sense of humour.

Son2 is getting a tutor, whether he likes it or not. And he doesn't. May the Lord have mercy on his soul. The tutor's, not Son2. I'll post how that is going once he starts.

Enough for now. I need to go bake something.
